Development of Waves Critical Thinking Test: Physics Essay Test for High School Student

<p style="text-align: justify;">This study aims to produce a product evaluate students' critical thinking skills that departs from physics content where students often have misconceptions. This research is development with stages covering a) and review literature; (b) planning chapter objectives; (c) developing preliminary form; (d) field-testing the (e) Revise (f) conducting main field-test. The Waves Critical Thinking (WCT) test developed consists of 7 questions 15 specific domains. Total percentage validity was obtained 87.98% appropriate criteria based on construct WCT test, Goodness Fit were which classified as fit. instrument being tested objective items. reliability results 0.597 Cronbach's alpha score medium category all components good level composite reliability. outcome valid state for measuring CT in domain wave material.</p>
